step-by-step staking guide

Step 1

Click Stake ETH button, click WalletConnect and then click the Fireblocks logo.

Step 2

In Fireblocks, choose the vault you wish to stake from and your preferred network. Once connected inside Fireblocks, you can navigate back to Figment and see your balance in the upper left.

Step 3

The next screen will prompt you to input how many validators you wish to provision, and then enter your withdrawal address. It is absolutely vital that this address is correct. Once you have checked that the address is correct, click Continue.

Step 4

Review that all your information is correct and click Confirm Stake. Don’t close or refresh this window while the validators are fetched.

Step 5

Once the validators are fetched, you will see the message change to “Waiting for Signature” – now you can navigate back to Fireblocks on your phone to sign the transaction, to sign the transaction.

Step 6

Once signed, you’ll see the pending signature status bar go from orange to blue. When the status bar is blue, you can jump back to Figment.

Step 7

Once signed, the message will say “Confirming Transaction,” and once confirmed, you will see a confirmation message. You will also receive an email shortly after confirming it went through and one after the validators are active.

Staking Fireblocks in the figment app

Step 1

Log into Fireblocks and navigate to “Staking” in the left-side menu. Here we can see all our staked positions and relevant information for each.

Step 2

To create a new staking position, we will locate the “Create Stake” button and click it. Here we will choose the asset and the wallet or vault you are staking from.

Step 3

Under validator, we will choose Figment and add a note if you like. Once we double check all our information is correct, we can click the “Create Stake” button. This will initiate the transaction.

Step 4

Once your transaction is signed, you will see the bar show complete. Now, you can click on it to see the details about your transaction.

Step 5

If you click on the Transaction Hash, you can see the details in the block explorer, but if you go back and click on the validator address, you can see the status of your validators.
