Babylon has announced the launch of Cap 3, opening on December 10, 2024, at around 11:00 AM UTC. This is a duration-based cap that will last roughly a week.

This allows users to earn points while contributing to network security. Early stakers are rewarded with more points their participation – earning 100,000 points per block for the first 300 BTC blocks compared to just 21,000 points per block thereafter. Users can now stake their Bitcoin directly on Babylon with Figment as the Finality Provider, leveraging our trusted staking infrastructure to participate in this innovative opportunity.
