Flare (FLR)

Flare is a Layer 1 blockchain that uses Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) as its base. It provides strong interoperability through two open protocols called State Connector and Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO). The State Connector allows for decentralized agreement on the status of other blockchains, enabling the acquisition of external blockchain data. The FTSO is a decentralized source for time-sensitive information such as asset prices and indices. These protocols offer a wide range of possibilities for applications that use external data and are secured by the Flare network.
